Naked Voices

Naked Voices performing the James Bond Theme

Extraordinary Acappella

Soul and Swing, Pop and Passion, Motown, Medieval and Millennium grooves.

Naked Voices is a 16-piece acappella band based in Bristol, England who perform an astonishingly diverse range of songs, replacing instrumentation with their voices. Their performances are uplifting and moving, mainly featuring their own arrangements of pop songs taken from the 20th century to the 21st, also embracing jazz, world, folk, big band theme tunes, classical, secular and sacred music. Theatrical and gripping, the mood of the songs are augmented and illustrated with choreography, tableaux and lighting.

Formed in December 1999, they released their first studio album “Uncovered” in July 2001. Their second album “Chambers Street” is an atmospheric live recording from the Edinburgh Fringe 2002. In June 2004 they released another full length studio album "All Together". In 2005 the 5-song taster called "Mouthful" was made especially for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. This year's Fringe treat is 8-track "Snackapella" which brings their discography up to date.
